internet

Watch hulu.com outside of U.S.

If you want to watch videos on hulu.com or nbc.com(or others) and you can't because you don't have an american IP, here's a nifty solution.
Download hotspotshield, install it and there you go, no more restrictions for you.
And the guys are pretty decent, they only stick an add on the top of your browser that can be closed. Also you can close it any time an get your old ip back.
Enjoy!

Google and the flu

While skimming through the New York Times' mobile version i found an interesting link. Practically Google aggregates search data based on keywords like "flu symptoms" groups it into geographical regions and displays it in nice graphs.
What surprises me is that the data is very accurate and is provided faster than the C.D.C(Center for Diesease Control)'s own data. It's quite nice to see things like this developed and it makes you wonder where is teh internet going and what else can you do with all the data floating around. :)

Two

Grooveshark - Lots of songs(as far as i can see they have more than deezer) with a lovely interface.
Imeem - A social music community(just like last.fm but you can listen to music for free). They have some nice apps for mobile phones(another thing that last.fm should have) and a great collection of songs. Horrible design.

P.S. If the titles on the blog appear weird, blame it on the Adobe guys who launched the new Flash player with lots of major changes(again! XD) and knocked down my sifr plugin.
